Start with Hong Kong: it is physically close, Hong Kong Premium uses CN2 / AS10099 / CMI inbound with direct return routes, Hong Kong EPYC uses CN2 + 10099, and Hong Kong CMI favors China Mobile.
Pick the Los Angeles China-optimized line (CN2 + 9929 + CMIN2, both directions optimized for all three carriers) or Los Angeles CUVIP (Unicom return optimization with more bandwidth).
Pick international BGP: Phoenix BGP, Los Angeles Ryzen 9950X or Salt Lake City EPYC 4545P — ports from 2 Gbps and at least 2,000 GB of monthly traffic, suited to overseas hosting, downloads and streaming.
Pick a high-clock platform: Los Angeles AMD Ryzen 9 9950X or Salt Lake City AMD EPYC 4545P, with DDR5 memory and NVMe system disks.

These describe the carriers' networks in general; what a specific plan uses is always stated on its product page.
China Telecom's Next Carrying Network, a premium tier above the ordinary 163 backbone with less evening congestion. CN2 GIA keeps both directions on CN2; CN2 GT uses it for only part of the path.
China Telecom's main public backbone (ChinaNet). It has the widest reach, but its international exits congest more easily at peak hours.
China Unicom's premium network (CUII, formerly the Unicom "A network"). It carries less load than the ordinary AS4837 backbone and is steadier for cross-border traffic.
China Unicom Global's international network, commonly used in Hong Kong and elsewhere to reach China Unicom and international destinations.
China Mobile International's network, commonly used in Hong Kong and elsewhere to improve access for China Mobile users.
China Mobile International's premium network, a tier above ordinary CMI, used for China Mobile-optimized routes from the US and elsewhere.
A common name for China Unicom "VIP" premium routing, optimized for the return path to China Unicom users. The exact networks used are stated on the product page and can be checked with a route test.
International BGP: several global carriers (such as Cogent, GTT, NTT, TATA and HE) with automatic BGP path selection for worldwide reach. It is not optimized for mainland China, and suits overseas hosting, downloads and globally served workloads.
Inbound (去程) is traffic from mainland China to the server; return (回程) is traffic back to China. The two directions often use different networks, which is why product pages list them separately.
China's three carriers: China Telecom, China Unicom and China Mobile. "三网精品" means premium networks toward all three; "三网直连" means a direct interconnect toward all three without detouring through other countries.
An IP address registered in the same country as the datacenter, which helps services that care about IP location. Whether a given online service works is still up to that service's own policies.
Bidirectional metering counts both upload and download against the allowance; one-way metering usually counts outbound traffic only. Each WawaNode plan states which applies on its product page.
