Want to add more resources to a server you already have? You can — no need to place a new order or migrate data. A higher plan is just a few clicks away in your dashboard.
How to upgrade
- Sign in at wawanode.com and open the dashboard.
- Select the server you want to upgrade and open its service detail page.
- Click Upgrade Plan and choose a higher spec from the list (more CPU / RAM / disk / traffic).
- The system generates an invoice for the price difference. Pay it with Alipay, WeChat Pay, card, or USDT and the upgrade takes effect. If you prefer, top up your balance first and let it cover the invoice.
Will it reboot the server?
It depends on the plan:
- Some plans support live resize — no shutdown needed, with little to no downtime.
- Some plans need a brief reboot for the new spec to apply. Do it during off-peak hours and make sure important services are set to start on boot.

Can I downgrade?
Downgrades (moving to a lower plan) aren't supported on every plan, because shrinking disk carries data risk. If you need one, open a ticket at dashboard → Tickets (/dashboard/tickets/new) and link the relevant service to it. We'll review your case and suggest a workable option.
A few tips
- An upgrade only bills the difference. Prices are in CNY, so check the amount on the invoice before paying.
- Have a coupon? Apply it at checkout.
- After upgrading, open Traffic & Monitoring to confirm the new CPU / RAM is active.
